Never been a fan of Dreamworks, for many reasons. Nostalgia Chick labeled a few, but you can go SO MUCH DEEPER. That said, I will admit to liking some of their stuff. Namely Kung Fu Panda and especially How To Train Your Dragon come to mind.

I saw the dualing part 2 this too, & I must agree, while I love shrek it just screams "hate!!!!!" of the source material all over it.

but slowly but surely dreamworks is ceasing go ripp off Disney moviesXD... I think Kung fu panda, how to train your dragon, & megamind show this (even though I personally found the movie kinda boring... Kinda)

Oh nuh-uh I saw u line road to el dorado side-by-side w/ emperors new grooveDX. The latter (or is it the former? I always forget... The 2nd 1 then) is funny, but el dorado is awesome it's one of my most favorite/nostalgic movies in the worldXD!!!!

I didn't see "Tangled" until it came to the dollar theater--I wasn't willing to pay full price to see Not Another Fairy Tale Spoof.

It was---well,alright.

In the 90's,Disney's traditionally animated features began to explore fantasy realms outside the whole European-fairy-tale genre.Pixar hasn't done that genre at all,at least not yet.I just hope John Lasseter remembers that running Disney animation.

Another marketing strategy with tangled they clearly show that the guy, Flynn Rider is the main character of this movie, reason being they wanted to attract more of a male audience they hadn't had a male main character with a princess in it since Aladdin so they tried to bring that back so more boys would see it. Then u see it, TOTALLY fucks you over, the girl is so obviously the main character lol it was a great movie it was just funny cause they promise you a male hero and then give u princess

Dreamworks started out on a promising note,with "The Prince Of Egypt".When I saw that their first CGI movie was obviously an attempt to steal thunder from a Disney/Pixar movie that came out a month later,I smelled trouble.

And it came from a farting,pop-culture-referencin­g ogre they sold their souls to.

Hate to nitpick but Antz came out before Bugs Life. Although it is painfully true that DreamWorks has been selling nothing but gimmicky crap for a while. How to Train Your Dragon is a fantastic exception to this rule. I highly suggest you see it.

Megamind became my favorite Dreamworks movie quite easily. I felt really bad for him throughout the whole thing. I have never even seen superman till after MM. I finally got all the easter eggs such as Will's Marlin Brando(space dad). Plus Roxanne and Megamind, I just love the couple, its easily one of the weirdest ones like Donkey and Dragon. But yet I can see them being together, NOT having kids. Forbid them to make past Megamind 2.

Disney is still the greatest...because it inspired these other companies to continue with animation. If DIsney didn't show what kind of top dollars companies could make through animation, Warner Bros. wouldn't have bothered to with Looney Toons, and Dream Works and Don Bluth would be...doing something else.
