People i saw on the lotro.com website that this game has no monthly fee.They say that you just buy shadows of angmar like the main game and then you play for free full time, but if you want some extra fetures you need to buy anything from the store to become premium user, but if you want even more, the highest V.I.P you need to buy it and then you get full access to every feature.Also you need to buy moria and mirkwood expansion to have the full stuff.That's the info i found online.Never played.

you have a story-line that gets you throughout whole middle-earth but you have lots of other quests like raid quests, fellowships quests, instances, class quests and many more, youre never done because it get newer and newer, for example siege of mirkwood, new area, more levels, new quests amd not to forget you can make different chars they are all very different so it never gets boring maby after 10 years;)

i'm a long time WoW player and recently i been thinking of swapping to a different mmo, so basically i have been going from vid to vid asking questions about the game, basically from what i have seen LotRO seems to be quite a bit different and i was curious as to how the quest system works. from what i've seen it looks like theres only a single path of something like chapters, so i wanted to know if i was correct in this assumption and if i am, what happens when you finish the chapters?

WoW is a good game, but with all these expansions with blizzard trying to milk the rest out of a dying game, they are killing the game to get a few more subscribers and losing the old ones. This game i play aswell as WoW and enjoy them both, this one is going to be my favourite if cataclysm screws WoW up.

WOW is the better MMO because it feels more finished, and many others feels laggy and stuff. WOW got the good gameplay, but most of the new MMO beats WOW on graphics. so i will give this other MMO like LOTRO and warhammer online a couple of years before they are at wows quality

Alright, But I don't like Everquest, it's kinda' copying WoW from my opinion. But no worries. Choose what you think is best, and what you like.

From this, I got a trial account, on download... I skipped some ".dat" files on the downloader, they were corrupted, it said.

So now when I try to launch, it says something with game error 201, Can't read data files, check that they exist and that you have permission to them.
