a scholar is he who has a sanad. allam pir syed irfan shah mashadi has a sanad from dar ululoom bikhi shareef pkistan and tanzeem ul madaris karachi. one of his ustad was hafizul hadith allama syed jalaluddin mshadi and muhaddise azam pakistan maulana sardar ahmed faisalabadi. so there is his sanad if thats not a scholar what is. apart from that he is a munazir and completely smashes all the deobandis and wahabis all over the place.
