....could have been developed more. in the film he seems to be a bit whimpering. also, in his friendship with moritz, they're like opposite ends of the same coin. moritz provides an emotional response to things and thats what keeps melchior intrigued in their relationship perhaps. but with wendla, i think this is the point in the play where he really realises that they're a perfect match-both fiery mavericks. for wendla as well-the whole time she's pampered by her mother and now she's being...
wow that was amazing, really spot on and the transition into modern language, absolutely seamless. one thing i'd say would be that melchior has always considered himself the intellectual-without a tactile and emotive relationship with his parents, he lacks maturity on anything sexual. but when it comes to debate, now thats where he thrives. i think he starts the conversation with wendla about charity but cos that for him is comfortable ground, a bit like an icebreaker. perhaps this confidence...
Oh god (mmm I know), this is amazing! Really professional, the progression works a lot better than the actual script, which doesn't sound realistic at all. However, I don't think that this challenging "oh hit me, *smirk*" Wendla fits in too well with the more innocent, "where do babies come from" Wendla in the play. Nice job, though!
This is phenomenal. I am really impressed. I have seen Spring Awakening many times, & the beating scene has always bothered me. It is not intended for people to laugh, yet I have never seen a performance where not a single person has giggled. This interpretation is great. Really. Steven Sater & Michael Mayer should watch this. See how it's really done. Again, fantastic job.
Agreed with the person that said that it should have been done like this on Broadway...the book scenes in that show are laughable, this interpretation was brilliant. You should do more scenes :]
This is quite amazing. Now if the broadway production would play the scene more like this I dont believe that so many people would laugh at it every night.
omg sooooooooo much better than the beating scene in spring awakening plz plz plz do more!!!!!
