Every I watch these guys play a song, I always find some extra detail I missed the first time. On Adam's chorus part, it's 8,10,10 / "8 not 7",5,6 / 7,5,6,0. Joel's chords (from strings C-F-A-D) form Adam's lead. I always did the 7,5,6 twice instead of 8,5,6 the first time. Not much of a difference at all, but just knowing I left out one detail, more than once, for more than one song, just makes me facepalm. Now to become accustomed to change once again... I <3 these guys; pure inspiration! \m/

@Guitarplayer629 doesnt really matter what strings you use, my guess is they do use heavier gauge cause otherwise it will sound very sloppy, theyre just pro at using pinch harmonics!

@nwilson59 I believe my guitar player uses like 10-52 and then replaces the 52 with a 54. Not too sure, dont know the guitar gauges by head, I will use on my bass guitar 55-75-95-115 or 120. Something really thick to prevent muddy/sloppyness, unless you like that sound, but I can't imagine:p

Too bad they recycle so many of their riffs it's hard to enjoy hearing a song when they have the same chords in so many of their songs. Not dissin em they know how to write, but not create. If you notice at 1:00 that's the same chord in My Last Serenade, I'd count all the similarites of their songs If I was trollin n had the time but I just thought I'd say that. They do squeal great though.

I mean no offense to the band, but Joel seems to have a better understanding of the structure of the song. Adam f's up a lot in this. But really, a lot of rythm guitarists get very little credit for their ability. No-body knows about Johnny Green, who was a long time guitarist for the Count Basie Orchestra. He got zero cerdit, except among guitarists, it seems. Anyway, still an amazing band. Can't wait to hear what they do next. :)

@krytokliever1 That's called a pinch harmonic. You can do it with any distortion, you just have to basically hit the string with your thumb right after it is plucked, while adding vibrato. It takes some practice.
