Anyone else find it a bit sinister? I find windmills, particularly the tall black-painted ones, very scary. I agree that the music accentuates the scariness. I don't have the same issue with wind turbines. Strange, huh? Maybe this film is the root of my windmill phobia. :-)
Thanks for the clarification - I work in the industry & was wondering about it and yes perhaps a 'bit early' for the use of cues in that way! These postings are a real treasure for all to see, I just wish here in Australia we could all work together and post some of our early TV history in this way. Thanks you apts...
The 30 sec 'cue' top left towards the end of the film is from the Interlude Film re-broadcast during the BBC 50 years celebrations, not from its original showing during the 1950s.
