@san098kdu These are the greatest lyrics he's ever written, I usually don't pay much attention to lyrics, but the meaning behind this song and what he's saying, and the power of his voice at the end makes me feel like cracking up every time I hear it.
@FroylanRuiz1 totally and the last part..: mother I hope you know.. is so sad and you could visualize it as a movie or identify with it in real life...
Whenever I hear this song I think of my Nana who died on February 2, 2007 from lung cancer...she was the kindest person you could have known and I'm not just saying because she was my grandma...she was also hilarious and if you pissed her of she would cuss you out...all I remember of her is she was an old Jewish broad with a new yorker accent and liver spots and she was wrinkled and fragile and had blonde hair...oh how I miss her...Rest In Peace Barbara De Pillo
I love the way he sings the first line, it almost sounds like he says "tard" not "tired" but it's not funny, it's magical in a way. Love his emphasis on "Rs"
Hands down and bowed heads to the song, as always, but the clip beautifully interprets the sound and depth of the music as well. With nothing more than a still of the album cover, so intimately is the romance of this songs message conveyed. Gorgeous.
i believe you, this song really shows the greatness of billy, his writing is wonderous and multi dimensional. the rhythym is sing songy its like an abstract lullaby. reminds me of beatles, reminds me of dylan, reminds me of radiohead, reminds me of myself and my personal endeavors, phenomenal.

I could hear Freddie Mercury singing this....for some reason. My God...Billy is just the epitome...of what a passionate and talented musician is.
