Anytime I listen to it, it bring me to tears. Thankfully, I have not lost my parents, yet. That is decades down the road. However, I already lost both of my grandfathers, one of my grandmothers, and one of my uncles since the days that this originally aired. I have to be really careful, because if I look at a picture of my grandparents from my mother side, it really tear me up.
for a cartoon, their songs certainly got to the heart of things.. and the simplicity of the meanings is incredible. i still believe this cartoon was before its time
@wisegirlchris I agree, This entire episode (Father's Day) is extremely powerful and mature. It's very hard for me to watch it with both this video and "Something is Missing"
