Yes, I did. I followed the directions exactly with your videos. I googled the issue and learned that it's a problem with the stock messaging system within the CM7 mod. I installed Go SMS Pro and the MMS works fine. I like the stock messaging app a lot, but I guess I'll use Go SMS Pro from now on because of this bug.

...one quick question - is there any way to disable the CM7 Mod animation on boot?!

@theredrobotredding Weird...I use the stock messaging app and MMS Works fine. As for the boot logo, I have a video that shows how to change it, but there is no way to completely eliminate it that I know of (I guess you could just make it a black image, so you at least wouldn't see it).

@minus5252 I googled CM7 MMS Triumph and I'm not the only one who couldn't get MMS to work with the stock messaging app. Ah well, Go SMS is kinda cool.

Sorry to flood your comments here! But...you can change it so the CM7 Mod animation doesn't happen upon boot, right? I don't care about the Motorola boot screen, just don't like the added animation.

@theredrobotredding It appears that there IS an established way to make a custom boot animation, but I haven't found it yet. Changing the boot logo will eliminate the animation though.

Also, yeah, I have seen others have the MMS problem, I just don't see why I don't have it too...

@minus5252 Hmmm. It looks like when you changed your boot logo to the Android Torch logo, the CM7 animation still appeared afterward. And the CM7 animation is the one I want to disable.

On a side note, I hate the CM7 boot animation, but loved the CM6 animation.

@theredrobotredding It is just the image that appears on your screen as the phone is booting up. I have mine replaced with a custom image (the flaming light bulb). Check my other videos if you'd like to install your own custom boot logo.

Yes and vice versa. When I send, it says "sending..." and never really sends. When someone sends me an MMS, I receive the download button, but it never downloads.

@theredrobotredding Did you do a full wipe when installing? Also, are you using an overclocking kernel? I would make sure you have done a full wipe and NOT install an overclocking kernel and see if that works...

Sooo...I'm trying to figure out how to place the G APPS and CM7 files on my SD card.

Nowhere in the vid does it say how to do this and I'm at a stand still waiting for my phone to die. HELP!!!!

@theredrobotredding Copy GAPPS to the SD card just like you did the ROM: Either use a data cable, or remove the SD card from the Triumph and insert it into the computer. Note: leave the GAPPS file as a zip file (Don't extract it).

@Vallejon4 There is a forum thread linked to in the description for the custom boot logo video, and I believe there is a tool in that thread that will allow you to make any pic into a boot logo.

@mikeperruno1 You don't if you don't do a full wipe before installing and already have the Google apps on your previous release installation.

proximity sensor not working during calls. When my face is to the phone the screen turns off then when I take the phone away from my face either 2 things will happen the screen doesn't turn on and i have to push to power button or the screen takes 5-10 seconds to turn back on. Thanks
