You could go to the fabric store and get a couple of fabric swatches to tie around the sides of your bathing suit bottoms. It will look like you have bottoms that tie at the sides and it makes them fit better. I've done that a couple of times when I wasn't thrilled on the with the fit of my bathing suits.
