she is just using an open tuning and playing from the top instead of below, which allows her thumb a little more use.

i think the fact that it is an african rhythm and tune, makes it sound trickier, but really it is just a pentatonic scale with some passing notes.

i am not for one moment dismissing her creativity, or talent..

she is marvelous..

it just isnt that amazing ... there have been plenty of people over the years who play guitar in different fashions.
