I HATE DENTISTS THEY ALWAYS POKE ME WITH SHARP OBJECTS BUT STILL WORTH IT NOT HAVING PAIN IN MA TEETH BUT I LOVE THE EYE DOCKTOR THEY DONT STAB ME IN THE MOUTH

I love going to the eye doctor I hate going to the dentist cuz I got a cavity filled and they said no shots cuz I really have phobia of sharp objects and they gave me a ducking shot five seconds later

Yeah I have to go every 2 years I hate when they blow that air in your eyes and yeah I can barley open my eyes when they do that thing my eyes get dilated but they have never been that big

I go to the eye doctor quite often. Every year pretty much for vision because i'm nearsighted and eye health examinations. Teh only thing I can't stand is the machine that blows air in your eyes to get the pressure. And then they do it one eye at a time.

Your eyes looked super dilated, I don't think mine ever get that big?

Me as well! I cannot stand to sit there and watch others put in their contacts. It makes me cringe, luckily i do not have to wear contacts. I would be the girl wearing the glasses. Though i do not need either of them. But glad to know someone else has that phobia!

The machine that blows air at your eye to measure the pressure is no match for me!

I go to the opticians (that's what we call the eye doctor in the UK) every year and they try every time, but I just can't stop my self from blinking when it fires and I manage to have my eyes closed every time.

Actually I believe there are both opticians and optometrists here in the U.S.

So you eyes being dilated confused me, so I googled a bit.

So they give you eye drops to make your eyes dilate?

This isn't done at all in the UK, we just have examinations in a room with low lighting & they seem to be able to look at the back of you eyes fine with just that and a ophthalmoscope.

You do know that when they dilate your eyes and use that machine to look into your eyes make sure everything is okay, the machine touches your eye, right? Haha, that's why they numb it as well.
