Yep. The cap distributes the voltage. I'm not too sure on the termonology, but you'd have to look it up. I've got the Power Acoustik 2farad cap running my L5's. I've got two 12" L5's ran by the ZX1000.1, havn't had any issues with it.

That was my specs on this box. It had to be interchangeable to other vehicles. The only thing you would have to modify is the leveling base at the bottom.
