First off ,the director said that the new childs play is going to be scarier than the original ever was.Second , I was able to see the new trailer , and it doesn't have all that high paced music.It starts will low bass with audio and video clips from the previous 5 films with , then it closes in on the new face of the chucky doll smiling.It goes dark and you hear charles laugh.

They are re-making it. It is not going to be like seed of chucky(which i feel disgraced his crazyass fucked up I'm going to fucking kill you Andy! Name)

The guy that created and wrote for all of the films(Don Mancini) will return.

Brad Dourif is also returning.

This will be a re-boot or re-imagining of the first film.

Its going to be alot darker and mainly horror and less comedy.

They said they chose this over doing another sequel because of the fans desires.

Hopefully, it'll be badass.

but all the info. they've been speaking about recently (Not off of a bonus feature 7 years old)

says that it will be a reboot and not a sequel. Which again sounds good to me because I think they would've just kept watering down chucky's evil and the horror with more stupid odd things (like chuckys daughter/son/wtf/thing) and stupid, corny jokes.
