I have a Bombardier ds50 i cleaned the carb, but when I go to give it gas it shuts off, i also changed the fuel filter, it seems as though the machine is starving for gas, any ideas what else I could do?

Hi I have an 02 Raptor 660 an im having problems with my. Every time I wanna gun it or open the throttle hard it wants to bog down an sputter. I can rev it perfectly in neutral but when getting high rpm or try to gun it it wants to bog? Could my carbon be dirty or wat. Idle how to remove it from my quad

@TeamLegionn i have the same issue. today i ran my atv through some water accidently and got water in the carby and couldnt start it, took it home and when i get back it worked fine because it dried out. now sometimes when i open throttle in any gear it bogs down and nearly stalls

From what you are describing sir, more than likely the float is stuck open and not regulating the gas as it is suppose to. I would recommend reopening the carb and resetting the float to allow it to regulate the fuel correct and stop the carb from flooding and leaking out.

i have a 01 kawasaki mahave 250 and i got it to start once and it ran out of gas....hasnt started since...filled up gas tank and changed sparkplug and sparkplug cap...still not getting spark and if i push start it it putts for a second or two and quits...any ideas?

@dloccisano11 sounds like you sucked the gunk out of the gas tank into the carburetor, you should try cleaning out the Carberetor

you took out the jets and if u have a after market exhaust do u just put the jets in or re jet it

My quad had leakage from the bottom and i cleaned out the jets just like 10 minutes ago and i don't know if its leaking anymore i don't think it is so that would probably be the problem

@mariotorres1977 no check out the zip tie mod video. thats probly your problem or youre just not properly jetted for your location

dirty carb...try doing what he says but use carb cleaner and flush the jets and clean the float bowl

@ajxxcore look on the right side of your ATV. AND UNDER BY THE HEAD YOU WILL SEE A LITTIE SCREW THAT TAKE'S A FLATHEAD. IT PROLLY LOOSE THATS THE SME ISSUE MINE WAS. TURN IT TO THE RIGHT ABIT AND TRY IT!

just make sure NOT to damage the jet is is very easy to i suggest using Carb. cleaner and compressed air first.

thanks man i do have one question tho. on my atv, new gas from the tank won't flow thru to the engine. is this the jets being clogged? Or float not working?
