if you spray from a distance with the right amount of pressure on cap, as long as the stencil is taped down, you could use paper. just don't over saturated your paper.

@Basementstatus yeah, u can use paper. Paper works ok, but it can soak up and mess up the stencil. Thats why i said manila is just recomended.

u should get an x-acto knife, or some off brand knife if possible. I got one from my local art store for about $3.00. But before i gotone of those, i used box cutters, but that wasn't easy.

oh i do some stencil on computer its just alot easier for me to draw something out then to just use an image online or creating an image on the computer
