I've seen it for my self and spoke with the crew at the Long Beach GP in the closed to the public area when I was helping my brother with his Toyota Atlantic car. It was so funny because the first question I asked was "turbo or supercharger?" and the guy just took off the hood and didn't say a thing. After a few seconds I realized something was a miss when there wasn't any forced induction and eight spark plug wires. He then told me it was a Titan v8.

@xxdmdxx If my understanding is correct, rear engined cars would most likely be banned because front engine and rear engined cars handle very differently in a drift, meaning that it can be difficult for the judges to judge accurately and it can also make tandems alot harder.... Nobody wants a long distance tandem!

The bolt on fender extensions and decklid base are factory, but the front bumper I don't think is, it might be the evo bumper, I could be wrong. The banana wing, wheels, lexan windows, CF splitter, aluminum rear spoiler uprights...not Porsche. Beautiful car though, and Tyler's an awesome pilot

Hardly, you didn't get my arguement at all, i said Japanese cars are in nearly every aspect of motorsport. They're in Rally, Touring cars, Drifting, Drag Racing etc... The only things European cars are good at is plain track racing, Japanese cars can do that and successfully while being able to do completely different things and the GT-R is the only supercar on the market because Japanese go for functional performance over brutish power.

And drifting is a much bigger sport in japan than in germany and the rest of europe. its about the driver but the car makes a difference to. you cant factor it out. for example a long wide drift would go to the heavier car cause its easier to hold it while the 86 less power and lighter would be hard to do the same thing, but on a more techinical course that 86 would murder cause easier to shift the car around, its both the car and driver, but the driver brings out the best in the car
