@bulerias81 Get off of here you racist idiot! This was the entertainment back then and still counts as entertainment today, and you should respect it for that. Composers of that day actually had talent unlike most of the "musicians" now days.
When we were young we had no television, and my family would often dance with tambourines well into the night. In fact, my mother looked exactly like the woman dancing on the left. No, right. No, left...
beautiful! Most often you hear baroque music that's boring and lifeless, but this is so lively and gorgeous, I'd love to learn to dance to baroque music.
This is brilliant! Too often I've heard French baroque pieces played lifelessly and boring compared to Italian, and this really blows that perception out of the water. I'm glad to have seen it!! Thanks much.
I am SO happy to see this lovely video on here at last!! ^___^ They show it on Classic Arts Showcase once in a blue moon, but not often enough. God bless you for uploading this!
This video to extract from the DVD which I am having. It is a DVD of the title which is 'Music of The French Baroque' of the (Il Giardino Armonico) which is an ancient music performance group of Italia...

That's definitely not a French palace, it almost looks like the far end of Schloss Hellbrunn in Salzburg.
