I know that this has already been said, but Lance should have won. I do think that it was right that Brooke made it to the finals, but she is oddly mechanical. There's no feeling at all. This is yet another example of this. Lance is just more engerized & happier about dancing & it shows in his performance. I also don't think that Warren should have made the finals over Cody. I know he's a teddy bear and sweet, but he just isn't that good at this & there is no way that he should have gotten 2nd.

I don't watch this show. But from what I saw on this particular video is that Brooke is way stiff. She's just... awkward. BUT Samba is hard to learn because of all of the technique.

Ignoring the fact that I adore Lacey (and her dress), Lance does pretty good. (I ran across his mambo and his jitterbug here on youtube). And warren is a teddy bear. :)

But yeah. This song is the suckiest Samba song I've ever heard. Like the beat is there, but it doesn't change the fact that it sucks. So who won?

I think he should be able to give a 10 to someone that does a good jitterbug. However, there is no technical challenges to overcome compared to a competition dance like the cha cha, so why would someone deserve it?

I think Len should give 10's, I just don't think someone should be ALLOWED to do it in the finale or semifinal, as it gives them an unfair advantage against someone that chooses a technical dance.

Does anyone else think that Kym Johnson looks awkward doing the samba? The samba beat has more bounce to it and she just seems kinda stationary like from 02:10 and so on. Compare Kym's samba dancing to Karina Smirnoff or Julianne Hough dancing the samba - Kym doesn't compare to them. Just my opinion.

I was kind of dissapointed. Brooke totally deserved to win, and she's an amazing dancer. But she didn't point her toes on the ronde or in the splits, and she didn't straighten her legs. Did this really deserve a 10? :(

Her arms were TERRIBLE every dance. They never deserved one 10. They kept doing illegal lifts....with feet coming off the ground and Carrie Anne wouldn't call it. I think they were trying to give the title to Derek so he would stay on the show....only my opinion.

And for the record, samba is danced on bent legs, one of the reasons why the judges always say samba is the most difficult dance to do. Her samba didn't flow as well as some of her other dances, though she deserved the 28.

You know i've definitely sensed that. It's unfortunate for Lance because they bring him down for no reason. He doesn't deserve that. Brooke's knees have always been bent that way but just recently has it gotten pointed out and it doesn't even affect her score. Yet Lance's footwork is always a problem for them.
