Policy Director for Giuliani's 2008 presidential campaign
Director of Speechwriting for Giuliani in 2008.
Senior Fellow at GOP's Manhattan Institute which was created by Ronald Reagan's CIA Director William Casey in 1978.
Does Avlon seem like he doesn't have a political agenda, does he seem like a person who could treat liberals & republicans equally, does he seem like a person who's not a biased partisan hack playing favoritism.
These are the credentials of John Avlon, Cnn "expert" on "wingnut conspiracy people"....
He was a columnist and associate editor for The New York Sun and worked as chief speechwriter for former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani. He was Director of Speechwriting and Deputy Policy Director for Giuliani's 2008 presidential campaign. He is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute.... See more
Manhattan Institute was established on VANDERBILT avenue by CIA director William Casey in 1978.
This is a classic CNN false equivalency. I don't like "liberals", but they are exponentially less insane than "conservatives". Balanced does not = fair.
i agree with most of this except for the comparison of the dislike of Obama to Bush.
i like Obama & have disliked bushes presidency very much, but with Bush i think it was more justifiable with the invasion of Iraq, the patriot act & illegal torturing of suspected terrorists without trial - & still not having information as to what was done & no-one being held responsible.
i think Obama should be doing more on this, and no-matter which president is in office torture is just flat-out WRONG.
lol. yeah, and for some reason i used to have this image of cnn as being the best, most legitimate news source out there. ...but that was before i started waking up a few months ago (thanks to my investigation of 9/11).
This is getting dumb and cliched... O'Reilly has his 'Pinheads,' KO has his 'Worst Persons,' Ed has his 'Psycho Talk,' CNN has its 'Wingnuts' yadda yadda yadda.
The general idea of a spotlight diss segment is played out, childish, and retarded. Gimmie a break and just try your best to report actual news.
Of course. Opinion journals are all the rage... just like reality shows. Neither of which requires excessive thought, money, or time to manufacture. They are the perfect potato chips for our eyes and ears.
Also these are the same "wingnuts" so called journalists on CNN that fact checked an Obama comedy skit. But didnt have professional judgment to fact check quotes on Rush Limbaugh.
This guy on here is wrong. RHINO Graham is a traitor for his unconstitutional support for the Iraq war. A lot of the tea partiers are against that war. CNN = fail
We here in the USA have third world conditions, it is correct. Not saying Obama did it but a vary few did it. I wonder how many people still think corporate news media is there to be the beneficiary to us, We the People?
It annoys me how the media picks out the most extreme people and picks at their words but doesn't use the "Legitiment" people who oppose something or someone. This confuses people ( you and I ) and makes it more polarized down the line.
The Media is a joke and people need to turn off the TV and think for themselves again.
And that clip of Graham, they show the guy having the beef with him and Obama but not the people yelling out how he's not a REAL Conservative but how Ron Paul is.
Ed's rant was actually based on the reactions of people like Eric Cantor to people who have been screwed by their insurance companies or employers where they basically say "go bankrupt, then use up the public services and go begging to your neighbors". I know they want to equate the crazies on each side but the facts don't back them up here. And there is a possibility Bush did commit high crimes so it's not equitable there either.
yes the far left and the far right are crazy. but the middle has been running this country straight into the shiatter for as long as anyone can remeber. i trust the far left and the far right more than the whores in the middle. at least people on the fringe have conviction and beliefs other than just money.
Her propaganda is more subtle and refined, but it's just as bad, especially since Obama took office. But if you're a a run of the mill liberal who's blind on his/her left eye it can be pretty hard to notice.
She backs up everything she says and she has certainly criticized Obama more than most conservative pundits criticized Bush--it's not that it's "hard to notice" it's that you're saying she does something she doesn't.

Spin, spin, spun,
This is a case where the wingnut is 100% correct.
There is no evidence to the contrary so there you go.
Tje changes in this country are not beneficial to this countries health period.
Believe or not time will show this to be correct.
You only just WISH he was a nutter.

60,000 Patriots, millions of Vietnam people died for nothing
- Nixon War Criminal, Crook, Traitor
- Reagan - Drugs for Arms is okee dokee (sure)
- George W Bush is a "War Criminal - He lied to the American people and 5,000 patriots and 1.2 million Iraqi's have paid the price
- Obama - Don't even know if he's eligible to be POTUS

Well, to be honest, I'm left wing.
And I'm not a big fan of Ed Schultz.
Too much yelling and demagoguing on his program.
(Even if I agree with his position)
So much nicer listening to Rachel Maddow
A rhodes scholar, and a PhD
And much more than fair with people she disagrees with.

Saying that insurance companies deny coverage for procedures and cause deaths makes one crazy, according to these idiots on CNN.

How about impeaching Obama for:
-continued mass murder in the Middle East.
-Voting for and extending the Patriot Act.
-Taking money from the poor and giving it to politically connected billionaires.
-Lying about Iran and setting the precedent for another war.
-hiring John P. Holdren as his top science adviser, who is a hardcore eugenicist.
-refusing to investigate the torture photos and prosecute those who, on record, raped and sodomized detainees who were never charged of anything.
