After their final 'split', a couple of the Red Arrows' flew through the wind farm under construction just outside Clacton.. nice and low through the pylons of the windmills to be.. shame I didn't catch it on camera.. :)

You captured the moment! We had them in Eastbourne the weekend before last, also the Blades who were superb.

Yes, the Blades was the last thing to fly in Clacton yesterday, but I didn't stay to see them.. I wanted to avoid the crowds on the train coming back so left early!! Also, there had been too many cancellations, like the Battle of Britain Memorial Lancaster et.c that I had really been looking forward to.. so I wasn't a happy bunny.. :) Even though I know that sort of thing is only to be expected.. :)

:) we were to an open house at former Sawyer AFB and saw demos of loading bombs aboard B-52s, etc, and best was fly over of an SR-71...apparently it was doing several AFB open house things across the country...that was a splendid thing to see in the air..!
