Thank you for that compliment! I did practice with the Merlin for a few months before this video, and I have had a lot of practice since. It is more challenging to follow children or dogs, because you don't know what they are going to do next.

The Steadicam Merlin costs about $800. The camera is your choice up to five pounds, or up to 7.5 pounds with the newer metal gimbal.

wow i have the glidecam 2000 for my vx2100 and these shots are much smoother on long durations. im impressed. wish I had the money for one.
