"I hate it when people describe the hunchback of Notre Dame as a horror movie and Quasimoto as a moster. Sure he's ugly as hell, but the movie's really just a historical melodrama.
Are future generations going to start labeling the kid from Mask as a monster and that movie as a horror picture too!?
This was a tight ass tribute, I'm a huge fan of old classic horror movies like this, especially universal. It's cool how you contributed to everything and not just the "famous ones". I loved this.=)
THIS IS JUST SENSATIONAL! I first watched the Universal Studios classic movie monsters on a local tv horror show that played these movies on late saturday nights in the 1970's.Boris Karloff,Bela Lugosi,Lon Chaney Sr and Jr,and other screen horror legends.Jack Pierce did a masterful job with the monster makeup. They were pretty chilling back then.I still enjoy them on dvd.A truly great post to celebrate

Hey all, the music playing in this video is a remix of music from the film SIGNS (2002), which I found on the web a couple years back. I used it because it worked well with the pictures of the Universal Classic Monsters. So, it's not directly related, but works just the same.
SO AWESOME! Great job! Thank you for showing love for stuff that's not usually shown in montages like "Tarantula" and "The Mole People". What is the song called? I recognize most of the audio clips (especially that little girl from Signs), but did you make the song yourself? So cool, make more of these montages!
I was highlighting only Universal Studios monster films. KING KONG (1933) was from RKO. The 2 most famous versions of DR. JEKYLL and MR. HYDE are 1931 film from Paramount and the 1941 release from MGM. - There is the Universal ABBOTT & COSTELLO MEET DR. JEKYLL and MR. HYDE (1953), but I wasnt able to include every single Universal creeper here. There are a ton of them! Maybe someday Ill do a Part II ;)
I got idea do a calender counting down to halloween every day post a picture of a horror boogeyman from a different movie each time... never do the same movie post picture of a monster in a video with bit of music every day until halloween would be awsome
i will go through the eerie silents of the 20's, the classic monsters of the 30's and 40's, the b movies of the 50's and 60's, the slasher craze of the 70's and 80's, the wanna be slashers of the 90's and torture craze of the 2000.
You forgot King Kong

house of wax and phsyco
dilcofilms 3 years ago
I agree dilco you should make a modern day horror video one for 70s which would have michael, leatherface, sun down sack killer, dawn dead zombies etc
80s which would have jason, freddy and the rest
and then 2000 plus which would have victor crowley, jig saw, ghost face etc
ZombieCallum 2 years ago
I prefer the old fashioned movie monsters myself but yes ZC-the one with Leatherface etc would be good but am not into the recent horror stuff.
Crackpot7272 2 years ago
Well look Callum, what if i just the boogeymen through out time. 1920's - 2000. I'll start on it sometime today.
