Just gotta love this White Trash piece of Shit from Oklahoma spewing about the immorality of gay marriage when she lives in a state that is among the top THREE in the nation when it comes to Divorce and Child Abuse. What an asshole.
Even if there are reports saying that kids are better off with straight parents than gay parents, isn't having gay parents still better than having no parents? Anyone who knows a gay couple can tell you that our "sinful" love is just as genuine and true as any other straight couple. If only people could take off their blindfolds, namely the Bible, and see the truth for what it really is, the world would be a much better place
So two women or two men can't give their children a supportive and loving home, only one man and one woman? I recently read an article about a father who fucking slit his two daugther's and his wife's throat!! Didn't really help that they were a straight couple here did it?? How can I put my faith in a God that let this happen to two innocent children?! This makes me want to cry and scream at the same time! Fuck you Sally Kern and anybody else who thinks like this!
I am a member of the LGBT community. And i obviously do not care for her opinion, atall. However, she is entitled to it. Just like we are entitled to our opinion. Opinions are assholes, everybody has one. So let her have hers, Who gives a fu*k wat this old hag thinks?! Eventually she'll crock and hit the bucket, and the revolution shall be televised. Let the people stuck in the 1950's stay there, they won't last for long. And new open minded officials will take ovr all n due time lads!
Yes i was born in 1988 just turn 21 in november, and wats scary is the people that have a problem with what she is saying, she is just telling the truth like it is, and people like you dont like to hear the truth. Also im not nuts and she isnt eaither.
Wow not sure what u mean by outrank me, and im not sure why me being black confuses you. Look i will respect anyone opinion, but can you explain your last comments to me?
I dont think they can, being gay is wrong, and then you add same sex marriage in it even worst, if a person wants to be gay oh well we cant stop them, but when it comes to marriage, thats out of the question.
@superjon1988 Homosexuality is predetermined in the womb of over 15,000 of our evolutionary cousins. You people haven't got a clue what your talking about! Marriage should be about love, not genitalia!
@mgbrighton Thats not true at all.......... homesexually is not predetermined in the womb, its after that person grows up and makes a choice its always a choice, eaither to be gay or not gay....... Marriage should be and always will be between a man and woman.........
@superjon1988 Hmm homosexuality is a choice is it? The American Medical, Psychiatric, Psychological, Psychoanalytical associations, The American Academy of Paedeatrics and The National Association of Social Workers all say homosexuality is not a choice. With this said please do tell me what qualifies you to make those remarks?
@mgbrighton Those are there opinion, there are many other associations who say that it is a choice. So in the end its all about who you believe, which associations, i trully believe its a choice, but thats just my opinion, but im not knocking you for your opinion at al, we just think diffrently.
Sally Kern is a horrible woman who spouts off her mouth without the facts. Why doesn't she speak out agianst divorce instead of gays? and hate crime laws will hurt your religious rights? The bible condones slavery. are we restircting your religious rights by forbiding slavery
You're a hatefuyl woman Sally, and now that I've heard this, its time to do another Sally song... unfortunately you were reelected so now I need to talk about your mental problems even more!
I would love to hear her comment on Mary Cheney. Does she believe that Mary's son Samuel is in grave danger living in a lesbian household? Would she advocate the child be forcibly 'rescued' and placed in the sanctity of a male/female home (such as that of Palin's)?
@ch5342 Don't call for separation of church and state, then blend the religion with the party when talking about an individual. The Blacks she's criticizing are religious too; except with most of them, they're actually trying to do it (the religion) right. This woman may or may not claim Christianity, but she's nothing like Jesus' example and, more importantly, she doesn't seem to care.
@natemup Sorry to inform you my friend, but many have assaulted your Jesus and used him to support their hatred towards people who are different than themselves. S. Kern is one of them, and sadly the party she represents is headed by christian fundamentalists.
@ch5342 Again, many actions perpetrated by so-called "Christian fundamentalists" are not Christian at all. While I do condemn homosexuality, I'm not about to attack the character of a homosexual on principle, because that is not who they are; it's something they choose to add onto themselves.
@natemup Well who is to say who is a true "christian" and who isn't? You are not one for sure, and on top of all that you have no idea about sexual orientation and make such ignorant comments like your last one. I strongly advice you grab a psychology book asap and educate yourself on the topic.
@ch5342 So you call into question the evaluation of a true Christian, then definitively declare my identity, with no authority? OK. And unless that Psychology book was written by a Bible-believing Christian, I have no reason to believe it's not just another secularly-biased way to teach your kids how NOT to live righteously.
@natemup I dont declare anything, but everyone says to be a true christian. I wonder what makes you think you are more christian than others like S. Kern. Based on what I read from you, you are the same kind of christian as S. Kern is.
You obviously have no interest in reality beyond the bible, so no need to point out how disconnected you are from the real world. THAT is a choice.
@ch5342 One either is or isn't a Christian, and while only they truly know, you can know people "by their fruit". Obviously this woman's fruits are hate, generalized judgement, and other typical right-wing political extremist bigotry. My fruits are calling sins a sin (and hoping people repent), and believing the Bible has authority over some Godless book (and Mrs. Kern's politically-charged racism). Make your judgement on "true Christians" if you'd like, but realize you have no real standard.
@natemup Im very sorry to inform you, but she is just as much of a true christian as you are. You will find you two share a lot of the same opinions. There is no "standard" since the bible can be interpreted in any imaginable way to support any hatred or good. It's how it's been used and will always be used that way.
@ch5342 I have to disagree, but as you don't believe the Bible, I can see how you'd see all people who claim Christianity as the same, and that there is no Christian standard. 'Tis the pagan way, I suppose...
@natemup I don't need to believe in the bible or the wizard of oz to make a comment about it, and I know you dont like the fact that you are as much as a christian as S. Kern is, but you are. In fact, there are millions of different types of christians because they all interpret that book to whatever they want to satisfy their needs. Of course there is no standard, and if there was every single christian deviates from it to, again, support their views with the bible. That's what S Kern does.
@ch5342 I'd say the standard is the early church (as in, pre-Catholicism essentially), and Jesus Himself. Sinfulness allegedly justified with the Bible throughout history is irrelevant. That's not who we are, and you can comment all you want on something to which you are clearly deeply ignorant. Christians are those who hear the Word, and obey it. Mrs. Kern is whatever she is, but what she said in this video is not Biblical, and therefore not Christian.
@natemup First, let me tell you I could teach you about the bible anytime. Second of all, the "standard" you mention is a base in which NO christian follows today. There are MILLIONS of definitions of what your jesus said and did, again all of it to support their views. Ask F Phelps what's his definition of Jesus and ask S. Kern whats hers. ALL of this because the book you blindly try to follow (but you dont) can be interpreted in ANY which way. Youtube isnt christian so what are you doing here?
@ch5342 You'd be amazed the powerful stuff I find on here! And we are called to be a light in the dark places, one of the reasons I bother to comment on a vid like this.
And to say NO Christians follow a Biblical standard is just proof to me you couldn't teach me a word of the Bible in any way pleasing to God. I don't need definitions for what Jesus did; the Gospel is self-sufficient, and I get wary when people try to expound where exposition is unnecessary. You know, discernment?
@natemup But youtube (or a computer) is not a "chritian thing." If you so blindly follow that book who mentions nothing about computers, then what are you doing here. In fact you should be living in caves in the mountains too, right? Anyway
The idea that you think you follow the bible is laughable. For all others, their interpretation of the gospel is clear, and S Kern and F Phelps have their own jesus, just like many millions of people have their own jesus. Get it? No clear definition!
@ch5342 OR: "For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear."
- 2 Timothy 4:3
Again, you attempt to say there's no clear definition of a correct Christian standard, and yet you've held Kern, Phelps, and myself to one that you created and deemed us all unworthy (and sinful for making use of things not available during Biblical times).
@natemup Yeah, that line from Timothy applies to you too. See how I can use anything in that book for my benefit? Get it?
You dont seem to grasp my point and Im gonna be clear once more time: there are MILLIONS of different chrisitans. If you ask S Kern shes a true christian. If you ask F Phelps hes a true chrisitan. And if I ask you you will tell me you are a true chrisitan too. Why? Because that book you think you follow can be interpreted any which way, for any purpose, by anyone. Clear now?
@ch5342 But Kern's is hardly in line with Scripture. No interpretations needed, her comments are contrast with the Bible. I'd love to see the Youtube video depicting her response to that fact.
Your first comment is actually not at all to your benefit, especially not with you being a non-Christian person. Taking out a phrase from the Bible and attempting to make it work AGAINST Christianity will never work. Until you understand the Bible, it's best not to make any false claims about it.
@natemup If you ask Kern she will have her own interpretation of the bible to support every single one of his points. Why is her interpretation better/worse than others?
I do understand the bible pretty well, more than you do obviously. Thats why I was able to set my mind free from all that bulcrap. Same way I dont believe in Santa Clause anymore. You just have to grow up. Some people don't obviously. Your passage from Timothy applies to you directly. Just think about it for a bit.
@ch5342 Somehow, I don't think she would. There's interpretations, then there's people who don't even read it, and just use it as a cover; one that really only works to make the non-Christians angry that people are still bigots, and the real Christians for the same reason, and that they are misrepresenting the faith (as they can see through the lies because they actually study the book).
And if understanding the Bible would lead you think it's "bulcrap" [sic], then you're missing the point. ;)
@natemup Then you don't know S Kern at all. Look for other videos of her here in youtube. Fred Phelps study the bible front and back 1000 times. Went to the University for bible studies. He knows every verse of the bible better than the palm of his hand yet he has his own interpretation of it. See how it doesnt matter your level of knowledge about it? You can STILL use it to support ANY POINT you have.
Oh I know the point of it, very well indeed. Just as much as I know the point of Cinderella.

As a psychologist I am getting sick and tired of people curving psychiatric studies and research to fit their own agenda. Stop doing it.
