even though this was her first part, Natalie Portman's talent was totally evident. she's one of the few that hasn't been involved in drug scandals, she got her degree, and now she has transitioned into adult rolls seamlessly...adolescent actors of today could learn a lot from her...
that's what i like about natalie portman. she sees acting as art. ms. portman takes this seriously. it's fun to watch her because she knows what to do. she's not just a pretty face like most young actresses these days.
@bodingtons I actually like the name "The Professional" better. I also think it fits the movie better; More vague, less a "character study", As i think the movie wasn't so much about "leon" but about 2 characters (or 3)
i don't think it's from dracula.....i've seen the movie quite a number of times.the dracula hat was somewhat more oldfashioned and longer...and darker in color.
I can't believe how much they took out for the American version of the film. The international version has so much more and some unexplained things make further sense.
Dude, thank you so much for putting this up! I saw that thing on IMDB on the Leon Boards on it but I couldn't download it for something reason! It was, like, impossible! Again, many thanks!!!
If You Notice Mark Elliot Who Did Voiceovers for Many Disney Trailers He did the Voiceover For The Making of Leon The Professional.

Did the guy at the beginning say, "A 12 year old who adopts a hitman." ??. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Why did it have to be called 'the professional' in states?
you must have people called Leon somewhere in those 51 states?
bodingtons 2 years ago 5
I met a leon in Buffalo, New York. He was a nice guy.

Natalie Portman does a Madonna impression in the movie. Luc Besson later worked with Madonna in "Arthur and the Invisibles."
