I think these old Simpsons shorts are more entertaining than the last four seasons...

Seasons 3 - 11 were some of the best television ever made. Now the jokes have gone as stale concrete and the plots are not only boring, they make a mockery of the Simpsons back in their heyday.

Why can't you just die with dignity like Seinfeld! Or hire new writers...

Yeah the Simpsons had a great run but these past few seasons have been terrible and are staler than food you find in an elderly persons fridge.I don't think Matt Groening knows the concept of when to stop.all good things come to an end.

well Star Wars was good but nowadays George Lucas is milking the franchise for pretty much all its worth. the original trilogy was great,but mostly everything after it (except 2-d Clone Wars) is terrible. the franchise is getting worse as George Lucas milks it dry.

plus I feel that a big reason why the new prequel trilogy is bad is because the characters lack the depth,heart and overall charm that the characters from the original trilogy had.

some characters go.... some stay.

Go watch ANY cartoon like the simpsons ... family guy , king of the hill, south park .... the voices change from the beginning.

the simpsons created the mold for modern cartoons to make their characters unique to the voice actors.

over the years the characters become uniformed. its just how it works.
