Extremely impressive. Some of the timings were just so impeccable that I actually exclaimed "Wow!" or "Holy shit!" out loud. Can't imagine how much time went into perfecting some of these jumps. Kudos to you guys.
@ZaCkOX900 lol it's a well known fact. I have used the Quake 3 engine since 2003, maybe even before then! I'm pretty sure if you Google Call of Duty and looked on the Wikipedia page it would say that it uses the Quake engine.
@ZaCkOX900 the Call of Duty games were created by Activision, who're well known for making Quake 3 engine modifications. They created games like Enemy Territory and Star Wars: Jedi Knight, plus MANY more... the first CoD was definitely based on the Quake engine, and up until 4 it used the Quake 3 engine, but then was relabeled as IW engine, which was a rewrite of the Quake 3 engine. If you really want to prove it for yourself, go check the console cvars (commands) in CoD and compare to Quake 3.
@Youngie1337 That is checking commands, some commands are the same from the half-life engine and Quake 3 engine. Does that mean they are the same? No... where's your real proof of this?
@ZaCkOX900 well for one, the glitches are still the same. The console is exactly the same, including design. The memory addresses are the same. file attributes and names are the same. The pak0 file is also the same, including contents/directories. The level editor is the same GDK Radiant, used for Quake based games. Oh and Half Life was based on the Quake engine, just modified. Email Infinity Ward and ask if you do not believe me. Quake 3 engine is beautiful, I've worked with it many times.
@Youngie1337 I'm just trying to be 100% sure, you made a great reply. I used to make Quake 2 and Quake 3 maps with Qoole and Quark. Fun times back then.

@Youngie1337 Can't always trust Wiki. Sure a lot of engines look alike. I wanted to read an article about it.

easy proof that call of dutys run on the quake engine is that you can strafe jump in them.
