when the motor stopped i realized that they should put electric starters on these things, a simple ratchet type drive can stop you form fishing it out likeyou did there. lol

@cheetawolf Hey. .... LOL. I was just thinking the same thing, till I scrolled down and read your posting. Yeah, a small electric motor with a prop can accomodate mid-lake stalls. For me, I'd have to get my canoe. Taku Lake is very big and I can't cast a reel that far. I have a .46 Vortex too. Lotsa phun.

Put a ducted fan on it. Nitro one - those things can get an airplane going up to 300mph.

no way, ducted fans are waaaay slower, and way less efficiant than gas motors, or proppellers for jets, no ducred fan jet can go 300, 150 would be an amazing feat

Right. The rc plane motor and the housing for it, like the shroud creates drag so full throttle is not as fast as if you had a boat like this with a marine engine. But you could get some speed with a .60 size motor haha
