correct my if i'm wrong but do you first make a simple sketchup model, trace it roughly, re-trace with pencel, re-trace that again with detail added and finally color that in with photoshop?

seems like a slow proces, but the result is absolutely beautifull!

and your hand-drawing skills are top-notch if you ask me...

make a tutorial of the painting proces and you'll be my all-time hero ;-)

@janetkatz1 its photoshop but its supposed to show the use of color and value and in my opinion is helpful to painting.

The video is just to get an idea of how to traditionally paint an architectural rendering. It's merely an unmasking of photoshop layers, but it does show how one would build up colors and values.

No one said it's a tutorial, it shows you only the process image by image in a non-conventional way of slide-showing (please correct me if I'm wrong)

and I can only guess it's uploaded for you to enjoy it, not criticize

Nice image but a very fake technique unmasking layers... Nothing like the real method to watercolor an image like that... Just a slideshow might have been better and would not get starters of the wrong foot
