Erics trip sums up my growing pains nicely... the 1990's were quite splendid in hindsight. I used to listen to this CD in the forest alone while skipping school and smoking a nice fat joint...
forever again is legendary. i like love tara and purple blue and uh that short one, "peter". but this is IMO the best record under the eric's trip moniker + line up.
finally found this, i saw it in the nineties tooo!! time flies. around 97 maybe, a guy lended me the purple blue cd wich i copied to tape and i remembr the pretty voice and looks of j doiron, and in one amazing tune precisely she sang "beautiful voice she had..."
I remember seeing these fine folks at a disastrous homecoming concert at my university many years ago now (disastrous because there were perhaps 16 people in the entire auditorium).
Eric's Trip, Pursuit of Happiness and a local band called the Stonecutters (nice folks, but I mostly went to see the Cutters because their guitarist was a big handsome bear of a guy (shallow, I know)). All wonderful, and no one to appreciate...
Fucking Brilliant!

the lead singer looks like Neil from the Young Ones. I think this song is quite cute, but it needed a lot more oomph put into it.

This makes me so happy to see, you have no idea.
It's just nice to see regular looking people in regular people clothes making good music. sigh...
Thanks for being eric's trip.
