  • where did you get your art journal? btw i love this song!! :P

  • @Daphne12321 it's made by Cachet, and I got it at Hobby Lobby but haven't found the same sketchbook in a long time.

  • Is that just glue that u use to stick on the paper, pictures etc. with?

  • @randomdancing8 it's actually gel medium, it can be used for a lot of different things but yes, I was using it as glue in the video!

  • I love your work, and I totally understand you doing the layers. You can see parts of the layers looking through. It gives it depth and is very cool. Good job, TFS.

  • random question: is that kyo in your t-shirt? :D

  • @angelsaremystars Why yes, yes it is! :D

  • @nattym God t-shirt then :) Love him!

  • lol - Second Layer: Pain

  • Thanks so much for sharing.

  • can I ask something... why do ppl add stuff to there page then they just end up covering it...?

  • @LusciousApril In this case, I covered up the collage with paint because the paper can still be seen through the paint, which gives it a "ghostly" look to it.

In other cases, people sometimes don't have an idea in mind, and they just end up creating layers and layers of paint and collage and forget what they started with. It's just the flow of creation. It happens! :)

  • pretty cool, but why put a layer of paper, and go to the trouble just to have it covered up?

  • @meow98 When you put a layer of random paper down, and put just the right amount of paint on top, you can still see the paper patterns and creases which give it a lovely texture. Hope that answers your question :)

  • a journal w/ good quality paper that can take water mediums, pen & ink, etc, would work fine without gesso. Though not sure it would be good for some of the techniques I see youtuber journaler's doing - the constant covering up of previous layers. highly numerous layers are what is abusive. Just a little more planning before starting might elimiate the need for so much gesso to cover up and re-prime. it may sound crazy, but u CAN plan and still be spontaneous.

  • Wow! Great work! Love it and the music is fun too, keep up the awesome art!

  • genial¡¡¡ me encanta como lo ideaste ;)..super guapo¡
