Out of all the Miami Vice actors, PMT has been the only one that has always maintained that he wished the show could have gone on longer than only the five seasons it ran, and that he "Really, really misses it" (his own words actually).

PMT has always had such a great, positive attitude about everything he's done during and after Vice, and I know he'd come back in a New York Minute if a re-make was ever done.

I used to see them filming way back in my Miami days and it was always great to see :)

Although the Vice movie has come and gone (rather bland I might add in relation the the show), I wish like hell they would do a re-make of the show using as many of the same characters as possible. They done re-makes for plenty of other shows in the past that were less popular than Vice, so why not re-do Miami Vice?

Now I don't know JACK about re-makes but I know all us true Vice fans would welcome a genuine re-make of the show if it were done in a tasteful way (new positions, etc, etc).

Philip Michael Thomas, made Tubbs look very EXOTIC, and more like a darker skinned island native or Latino man. Jamie Foxx looks like any ordinary black guy, nothing distinguishing about him. PMT will ALWAYS be Ricardo Tubbs. Bring back, the original Miami Vice!! :)

At that point, everyone working on the show was getting so many other offers including films and music videos, Don and phillip both launched a music career off of vice. In addition to that the stories during seasons 4 and 5 were becoming more comic bookish with space aliens and people who thought they were cocain superheros, the vibe changed. Even don johnson and Edward James Olmost stopped showing up to work.

@22centman36 ...yea...i kind of thought that there were some additional behind the scene changes also. the ones I listed were changes that the hard core, from the beginning fans, like myself, notice after awhile. it's a shame that none of the originals were tap to do cameo's for the motion picture.......

Nee, ik nam het destijds op om mijn capturekaart in de PC te testen (en ook omdat ik MV fan ben). Was mijn harde schijf aan het opruimen en kwam het tegen, ik dacht wie weet doe ik iemand er een plezier mee. Meer zit er niet in helaas. Maar ik schat dat 75% er wel op staat.
