It's cool to hear Kylie talk about this. Another cool thing about this song is that it was written by Paula Abdul. Paula was going to release it for her comeback but instead it is Kylie's big comeback, very cool for both of them.

in my opinion this is where it all went wrong. but it´s still great pop and business and all well made and with a top star that i will always love. would love her to work with producers and stylists less "eurovision" and "d.i.y" and more timeless/fresh.

We Kylie fans have alot to be thankful to Spinning Around. If this song had of flopped, there would never have been a Can't get You Out Of My Head or Slow or In Your Eyes etc. Love this song forever! :)

Wee I did say if Spinning Around had gone nowhere, her record label might have decided not to release a 2nd single. I wouldnt call top ten nowhere. A good example is Sheena Easten. Big in the past like Kylie, she too released a comeback album in 2000. The 1st single off it "Giving Up" only went to No 54 in the charts, she was then dropped by her label without releasing any more singles. Thats why I said we Kylie fans have alot to be thankful for that this became a hit.
