He can't sue him, the fan was breaking the rule himself, fans are not allowed on the pitch. So after you break a rule it doesn't matter if someone trips you and even if you break a leg, you can't sue because you were in the wrong in the first place. If it weren't for you breaking the rule, the other person wouldn't have had to intervene and trip you!
this is why soccer is so hard to play cause refs never understand when you just trying to do the right thing

He can't sue him, the fan was breaking the rule himself, fans are not allowed on the pitch. So after you break a rule it doesn't matter if someone trips you and even if you break a leg, you can't sue because you were in the wrong in the first place. If it weren't for you breaking the rule, the other person wouldn't have had to intervene and trip you!
