  • Two ways of playing this song and your way was the right way. The other way is wrong... Great job!

  • What a sweet guitar, dude! Cheers from Finland

  • This sounds GREAT. Better than the 68 GT IMO.!!!

  • Cool! but originally it was played on fender telecaster...

  • I actually found a 68 Gibson Les Paul in the trash on the way home from school and it looks identical to yours. Its now my main guitar that i play regularly. Its truly an amaizing guitar.

  • @guitar97dude WTF

  • When you listen to this, and then listen to the actual solo. You can really tell why Page used the single coil bridge pickup of his Telecaster.

    Great version though.

  • @urkingod Late 50s custom were sometimes nickel

  • @urkingod: It is something between there.

  • very cool I'm just wondering how much you payed because I'm thinking of buying one of the same year for around 4 grand but it is in rough shape because it was owned by a drug addict who left it on the stove, but I also know they can go for like 15 grand

  • is guitar sounds a bit brighter to me than the Page model guitar.

  • you have got some gorgeous guitars.

  • @urkingod The specs are for black and gold, not nickel

  • nice cover....can you tell me the pickup settings??

  • i got an early 70's custom fretless wonder like urs. soo hard to bend strings and vibrato. it never had any repairs or anything at all ...all original. it actually is my dads and i dunno if i should keep playing it or let it sit in its case and stay in good condition

  • @EvaSlash Awesome. I have had many early 70s LP Customs. They are great guitars. But they are quite different from the one I have in that video. A 68 is more like a 50s version than a 70s version.

  • @EvaSlash keep it! it's prob. got really old strings on it. today's strings are much better, and a lower gauge, so eisier to bend. i had a '70 les paul custom, and sold it for $450 in 1986. major mistake. it would be worth maybe $8, 10 grand today! keep it!

  • very good cover, so you better guitar is custom or standard? Thank you.

  • I think this custom sounds better than the aged guitars you got :)

  • do you have 10er strings or more?

  • u do the pull-off's???

  • Can you please rephrase the question?

  • @JohnnyAce07 amazing video! I was thinking about purchasing a les paul custom similar to yours! i was wondering how heavy they were and how much you like them compared to the other les pauls? thanks!

  • @wankerpuss sold it a long time ago; don't remember weight; did not like the fretless wonder frets

  • does that have an ebony or a rosewood fingerboard?

  • Ebony

  • how come now they use rosewood then?

  • Les Paul Customs always have Ebony; Les Paul Standards have Rosewood.

  • oh, thanks. i got some stuff mixed up. i thought the ebony was actually rosewood at GC

  • if it was a Gibson it was Ebony; I have seen them put Rosewood in Epiphone Les Paul Customs.

  • I have the same guitar, but epiphone haha

It's a shame it doesn't have 3 pickups, like Jimmys...

  • Flawless

  • well, not exactly...listen to the bend at 0.55. something's gone wrong, I think

  • Do you have a tab for that?

  • nope!

  • it's great that you can do justice to these guitars, jimmy would be proud

  • how many les paus do you need...

  • as many as i can afford! but i only like the nice ones
