  • I think this is an expression or art. I don't think Travis had the intentions of putting questions on his sexuality. People shouldn't put stereotypes on others because of their profession. I think there is a serious need for maturity here.

  • OMG I FELL IN LOVE!!!!

  • I seriously, SERIOUSLY cried watching this. Is so beautiful!! It's such a sad love - and I repeat, LOVE - story =/ And they're both hot, which helps a lot, hihihi =P (I'm a straight girl, but I think gay luv's really cute!)

  • so beautiful and emotional :')

  • not to be whiny, but it kind of sucks being gay and having the same issues as breeders but having the added woes of feeling like your shit somehow doesn't matter as much as theirs and also feeling we have to hide (both from the "tolerant" but still disgusted fascination of the general public, and often our very own families). sigh. but at least being pissed on by heteros makes for jizztastic art

  • hmmm sooo cooooooooollllllllllll nice

  • I'm a male dancer, an that dance made me cry the first time I saw it. As a matter of fact...I'm crying now! (literally)

  • I don't see how Kent lost! This was ridiculously graceful and heartbreaking.

  • That guy has GREAT facial expressions. I'm impressed. :-D

  • Why can't they just say that this is about a relationship? When every week they have couples consisting of a girl and a guy playing the part of "seductress and prey" or "flirty new relationship" or "tender loving couple" ect ect.

Nothing like feeling invisible and something in need of hushing up, eh?

  • This dance isn't about Neil and Kent, so their orientation matters in this conversation even less than it would in any other. This dance was choreographed by Travis (who I think IS gay) about an experience he recently had (as clarified by Nigel in the judges' comments not included in this video). Maybe it was about his best friend. Maybe it was about his boyfriend. But let's not forget that someone CAN be both. And losing that person is the most emotionally devastating thing I can imagine.

  • That's what is great about art, you can interpret it however you wish. But, whatever is choreographed doesn't necessarily reflect the dancers. AMAZING piece nonetheless.

  • You're gay for saying they're gay you closet case homo!

Let's see you attempt to perform this and not look like a mental retarded kid with 2 left feet!

  • Season 7, was is untouchable in the talent and great choreography. Even on a world stage, nothing can compare.

  • the best dance of the hole season!

thank God that Travis has became to the show as a choreographer. : )

  • I would have to agree that are pillowmushers!

  • I really don't get why so many people think ALL male dancers are gay, it annoys me. They're dancers who cares about their orientation.

I love Neil and Kent. This was great.

  • @cityofrev i agree with you.

  • I totally get what you're saying, but I get really angry when I see blatant de-gaying. It has nothing to do with the dancer's orientation, which is irrelevant. Travis Wall is an out gay man, and this piece is so clearly about a relationship. It's just very frustrating to have SYTYCD shove heterosexual sensuality down our throats every week (seriously) and then have to endure this dance being repeatedly sold as "friendship"

  • there both gay!

  • @LilLesh007 You're gay for saying they're gay you closet case homo!

Let's see you attempt to perform this and not look like a mental retarded kid with 2 left feet!

  • @LilLesh007

Being gay doesn't matter.. It's dance, art, it's passion. It has nothing to do with being gay.. Someone who thinks this is gay is definitely in denial or really hates him/herself!

  • Their good! and if their gay who cares lol. its the talent that counts right??

  • Amazing.... Kent and Neil are great

  • yu guys are all pathetic stereotyping someones orientation without knowing them! looks can b deceiving! yu guys juss need 2 mind ur own business if he is gay let him b it doesnt matter!

  • @farmerboii27 I totally agree with you

  • @gabzalopa123 thanks for agreeing with me, it juss gets me maad cuz everyone keeps talkin smack whether he is gay or not! it doesnt matter he is still him, thats who he is, if they dont like him then y they on his videos, there millions of videos on the site, and proof is his town girls when out with him and he i believe currently has a GF! hopefully others read this comment so they can shut up! thanks @gabzalopa123

  • Stfu they aren't gay and this isn't about gay guys! It's about 2 best friends who go their own separate paths. Why cant u just be mature and accept a great dance?! Grow up assholes!

  • @ShelBeccah u sound like ur 12.....Kent is obviously gay, i dont know about the other one but im guessing he is do givin his proffesion.

  • @yaoiking16 You're an ignorant moron whose views on life are limited by ridiculous stereotypes. Neither Neil nor Kent are gay.

  • @jaimelepink honey im gay as the day is long so trust me i can spot a mo when i see one. If you are taking me saying that they are gay as an insult ur a homophobic troll.

  • @jaimelepink I agree @yaoiking16 is an idiot. Still, I wouldn't make claims to know the sexuality of either Kent or Niel, as neither of them have really been asked in a public forum.

  • @SeeThinkFall Everyone assumes things about everyone all the time, im not the first so stop acting all high and mighty. If you dont agree thats fine, but dont act like you never do it. And i STILL think hes gay and thats my opinion so get over it.

  • @yaoiking16 Er...okay. You're perfectly entitled to your opinion, and I'm, you know, over it. I don't think I was ever under it.

I shouldn't have called you an idiot, I'm sorry. It's really easy to do online, but would I have said that to your face? no. So I apologize.

My issue was you assuming they were gay simply b/c they're dancers. it's that attitude that inadvertently leads to dances like this being 'de-gayed'. B/c male dancers like Nigel work SO HARD to 'straighten' dance.

  • made me cry...

  • lol so obvious this is a break up dance.

  • amazing!

  • This is a Perfect 10 !!!!!

  • i like the song ALOT!

  • That was HOT! Haha. I knew they were gay, I just knew it.

  • love it, its amazing and beautiful!

  • Really, really ugly and hypocritical and insulting that they have to pretend this is what happens between two terribly, terribly, totally straight base-ball buddies. rg0057, your analysis of the dance as a metaphor for the toxicity of the closet is perfect. Ironic, isn't it, that the show had to closet the performance itself.

  • @Goomgam I completely agree with you.

  • Not bad. It obviously tells a touching story of gay love. These are definitely not best friends. One of them accepted himself, and the other preferred the closet. That explains the violence of his action, stabbing him, and the parallel moves (still in love) after that, and the black-shirt's collapse at end.

Still waiting for SYTYCD to choreograph that great male romantic dance that millions of Americans deserve to see. Is it fear or hatred that is preventing them? Clearly they can do it.

  • @rg0057 seeing that this show aired on fox...i doubt we will see something as great as a male romantic dance.

This was obviously a gay narrative....and was covered up as...2 baseball buddies who stopped being friends....dumb.

  • Yeah..."best friends."
