Keep tourism development away! It will destroy this quant Lake Erie jewel. The hoardes of tourists will turn this stunning place into a circus....loud, trashy, crowded and commercial - is that what we want for this little corner of paradise??

Laguna Harbour? This is the first I've heard about it. I only go to the island once a year so I can't speak for the residence, but I think this is far too big a project for the island. I understand the south side used to be a big deal 30+ years ago, but a $300,000,000.xx resort? 3,000 residential units and a 450 slit marina? This would be a shame to see. I agree, there should be some solid infrastructure built on the south end, but around 1/10 the proposed size. What do you think?
the co op is gone Oh no I went here in early august 2008. I cycled around the island and stopped here to buy a few things. I like this place, friendly people, beautiful place, and entertaining, and intereasting location.
