I still remember the feeling of disappointment when I played the album.
Even worse than In Mysterious Ways (John Foxx) and Certain Things Are Likely (Kissing the pink) I think it was ten years before I bought another Numan Album.
Sorry, this is tragic. As for the no Radio 1 airplay, this got played to death, I remember studying with the radio on during the day, was played at least 4 times a day.
.Saw poor old Tom O'Connor on Come Dine With Me the other night, he's looking old and frail now :-((
Brilliant eighties pop at its best. Not a fan of most of Gary Numan's songs but this is excellent. Played once, I have to listen to it several more times, it's so catchy!
Radio Heart went straight on to the Radio 1 playlist at a time when radio stations had turned their back on him, It's a great track sung and performed from a much underated star, more please Gary
people watching this show could've been thinking "what a sell-out" as they would think this is Gary's own material from the incorrect announcement at the beginning
its so funny watching this clip because its the very performance that i watched that day in 87.the next "performance" was a short comedy piece involving a rambo lookalike complaining to tom o connor about being stopped from entering the hall.hilarious.fantastic video brings back great memories of that time.even my girlfriend if that time said it was a good track.thanks for posting this one.
I always thought that song was a cover he did. Did you see the audience? I can't imagine some of them buying his records. Still, I think the song is great. It's Cheezy, but great.
Sorry, I can't see any asychronity. It may depend on your video player and/or your ip bandwith. I also love that song, although this is not really gary's kind of music. But I think he looks great and powerfull.
awesome intro with the synthesizer!!!!

it wasnt bad, just very commercial sounding. i cant imagine it was quite the direction he wanted to go in

One of Gary's best tracks - a thousand times better than the pretentious regurgitated Marilyn Manson crap he's recording these days
I wish someone would upload the 12" version and 'London Times' which was quite catchy as well...

WOW! It turns out that both tracks ARE on YT at the moment...

Radio Heart is a great song
If I play this to someone who is not into Numan even they will admit this is a great song

Actually the band's name is Radio Heart, as well as the song. Numan is guest vocalist. The only real song the band had... I have the 12" single.

1987 indeed; 20 years ago. This song ruled my new wave world. I hope it gets released on CD, again.

I heard this song once before, 17 years ago and have only just found it again. Does it exist on any of his albums?

What is with the audiences in Gary's videos???
I really don't think that old farts comprise the core of his fan base, do you?? I hope it's a practical joke.

Prefer him now (Yes!, he's better,.. in fact better than ever!, ESPECIALLY LIVE!) but did love this one. Slick stuff!

The song isn't bad but it sounds like something some pop band would have done. Numan looks and sounds out of place. He had lost his way.
