Got Country Grip - Undefeated Racing Paint Horse

I love how only two horses have Paint markings, When I think Og paint horse race, I think Of colorful, multi- colored horses running, not just boring bay ones

I went to Oklahoma in '08 and saw Got Country Grip in person. Me and my teammates horses were boarded at the ranch he's at..or was at unless he moved. He's a beast.

there great all around horses.

but yea hthey race they are the fastest horses i nthe world in the quarter mile.

Quarter horses that aren't lazy can be a little bumpy, but they are really mellow and responsive. great horses.

quarter horses arnt that fast my friend has one and he slow haha and hes only 8..or are you just saying the quarter horses that are specifically bred for racing

You must of never heard of Racing greats like Go Man Go or Dash for Cash, Bugs Alive in 75, Jet Deck, Easy Jet, Oklamoma Star. Quarter horse race horses can reach speeds of 50mph in there sprint runs....in a short distances they will live a TB standing still....

Yes, only paints, got country grip is registered as a paint. His times are just as fast or faster than quarter horse times. Truly a freak!

Freak? I don't think so. 13/16 of this horse's pedigree is hot Quarter/TB running blood. The 3/16 Paint is also top notch running blood.

yes I understand the pedigrees and bloodlines he has, I've been in this game a long long time....by FREAK I mean he is very consistent with his times and his races, he just runs hard every time and it looks like he could go on forever and never tire. Reminds me of a horse named AZOOM from a few years back.

Yes! No doubt, Quarter Horses are way faster than thoroughbreds! Thoroughbreds can go much further though than quarter horses. You can compare QH's and TB's like a sprinter and a mile runner.

Thoroughbreds and quarter horses race eachother quite frequently in 870 yard races, with thoroughbreds winning a good amount of them. Thoroughbreds are built to go much longer distances, its like compairing a 100 yard dash olympics runner to a marathon olympics runner. You cant. All running quarter horses and paints have thoroughbred in them anyway.
