Lord Genome wasn't 'there' as you say. He may attack the fleet, but he had no way of knowing where their homeworld was. I think it's mentioned in the show and in the movie, so they couldn't really make a dent to the anti-spirals. And anyways he still would've had to overcome the space ocean thing and the multiverse trap. Simon had Kamina or the memory of him to bail him out, not sure what Lord Genome would've had. Anywho Lordgenome was my favorite character in the series xD

Genome is Darth Vader haha, he turned on his people because of a vision of the future (padme dying, end of the galaxy/spiral nemesis). Then in the end he sacrificed himself so the hero could overcome the villain ( the emperor, the anti spiral). Now gurren Lagan and starwars being my favorites make sense....

Likely. It seemed that the Anti-Spiral only went and spilled the beans about the Spiral Nemesis when he finally perceived that Simon could possibly win. Could've been the same for Lordgenome and his army.

From what I understood Earth could never make any headway because they could never locate the Anti-Spiral homeworld. Simon was only able to do so because of Nia. Regardless of how they were actually doing in the war, they would most likely have been worn down eventually.

no they wouldnt have, because while i believe personally lordgenome was stronger then simon at that height of his abilities his problem was he couldnt find the anti-spiral homeworld and so he could only basically defend against the enemies that came to him. past that he didnt lose it, the anti spirals just made him realize that if he continued his course of evolution he would eventually create the spiral nemesis
