Why don't you what happened previous to this? You know... when the group of protestors encircled the police to prevent them from removing people they lawfully arrested and were chanting "We'll let you leave when you let them go". Then the police systematically went to each person and said "If you refuse to leave, you will subject to force, do you understand?" About 20 minutes later... they were pepper spray for obstruction of justice (this clip).

Fuck the protesters. It was made clear to them well in advance that they were in violation of campus policies. Their peaceful assembly then became a conscious decision to violate policy. Campus police then took necessary action in order to make the area safe, and to disperse the persons violating such policies. While using pepper spray might have been a tad much to some, it got the fucking job done without killing anyone.

I am for the people's protection, including the police. Spraying capsaisin solution in peoples eyes and down their throats is an extremely violent response to what the students were doing. It is coming that some riot squad will be overwhelmed by enraged protesters. The students were peacefully protesting which has been historically common on college campus. Explain to me how linking arms and sitting in a row "compromises [the private property's] security" without ad hominems.

Where exactly was the security compromise? The only people that suffered violence or assault were the peaceful students sitting down prone, not making any moves.

Law enforcement assaulted and destroyed the security of the peaceful students exercising their their constitutionally protected right.

Cops were engaged in violence. That was recorded and is beyond argument. It is fact. The students showed no violence. There's no evidence AT ALL provided.
