  • this is confusing you should not call it importing brushes this just a normal importing image to AE

  • How is this importing a brush? This is importing an image. I want to know how to import Photoshop brushes to paint with in After Effects!

  • waste of my time.. please change the title...

  • not happy with your titling of this :/ seriously

  • ?

I thought this video was going to show how to actually import a PS brush pack to AE and use them with the brush tool in AE.

    -.-

  • yeah thats more a lesson on importing images...stupid adobe. should b able to import brush packs.

  • Just do Effect>Generate>Fill>Change the colour...

  • All i need to do now is work out how to get brushes into PS

  • Great explain, thanks

  • another reason we would want to import brushes is so we can animated them and they would leave a trail.. Not just push a graphic around the screen.. give me my 5 minutes back.

  • really helpful! thanks m8!

  • You should not be calling this a tutorial on "importing brushes" because this is not what you are doing!

This is merely taking a brush stroke you created in Photoshop and bringing it in

as a graphic. If it were a brush you would be able to use it with the brush tool...

    Very disappointing...

  • This isn't what I was hoping for. It's just an image not a brush.

  • in ps do trim instead of crop.

  • 3:20 drag the image on the new comp. icon

    that goes faster

  • I had not thought of that :O

    Thanks!

  • @ComVideoStudio much much easier, as your version ;-)

  • @ComVideoStudio yeah just drag the image onto the new comp icon :p

  • thanks. u inspire me!

  • @lonelyday91 haha awesome! :D

  • This isn't really a tutorial on importing brushes, but importing graphics.

The big reason why we would want to import brushes is because they are vector images and take up less memory and render faster.

  • @fmlphotography This. I know how to import a fucking image already
