Mountain Bluebird (correction Gray Jay)

It's the Giant Chickadee!

I luuuuv Gray Jays. I've also had the thrill of having one land on my hand, and go up my arm....for the usual tasty handout.

I'm a grouse hunter and one time when I was out in the woods, a gray jay stopped me right in my tracks!

I always try to give them bread 'cause they're the best!

Thank you both of you for that correction. I didn't think it looked very blue but a local had said it was in its winter plumage.

this is not a Mountain Bluebird. This is a Gray Jay. Google both and you will see what I mean...

cheers and I love gray jays because they are so trusting and friendly...

As a Canadian I was disapointed when they changed their name from Canada Jay to Gray Jay.. grin..
