Can´t record over mp3 in logic.

I can dragondrop it intoon Logic, But When I mute him is still Playin ( lil lower).

An If i rec over the mp3 beat it´s nothing.

where do you find the setting that makes it so that every time you copy a piece of audio it doesn't make a new file on your hardrive. i need that setting because i record guitar, and everytime i record a new take or make a copy to layer guitar tones, it makes a whole new file, even though it is the same piece of audio. its really frustrating. especially because i have limited hardrive space. help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have the Right Click option on in the Mouse System Preferences.
