I was upset first, but now I cant be mad at him for wanting a break. It`s basically something all the main eventers do on a regular basis. Some shoot a movie, others just heal injuries. I`m sure Jeff will come back (afterall there is that rumor about a MTV show; ) once the time is right. Btw I think it`s a very wise move, he has really matured and now puts his health in first place - cant blame him for that.
