the Chinese removed the decoupling capacitors to save money?? what the fuck were they thinking, no component is used for decoration purposes, it plays a part!
My parents were always very reluctant to buy me toys when I was young. As I would always take them apart. I did the same really, I discovered one day that I could modify these things. Now I modify 80s game equipment and build synthesizers. If only the had knew...
One of the few people I would nominate for an emaritas degree. At the very least would make a good series of Barbie dolls: racer Jeri, tech Jeri, designer Jeri, and so on.
Jeri, you've always been a person I've looked up to... Mainly because of your C64 involvement and chip design. I actually bought the C64 in the stick you made... You are an amazing person. I've learned so much from you and you are a spectacular woman. I've also been following your Commodore One endeavors... There's so much we share in common. I'm speechless. I'd wish we'd get to know each other one day, because I have so many questions to ask you... but unfortunately, my life's calling. EOL.
This woman should be the female Bill Gates. I would say most men feel threatened by intelligent women but I'm not. If you want a date in central London Jeri and you're ever around contact me !
I love this woman; she has brains and beauty and guts, and still retains her femininity :-) She reminds me of a dear recently departed girl called Alison Challis (techie_alison), who was tragically killed by a fire engine while riding her motorbike in April 2011. She like Jeri was a self taught electronics boffin, who designed hardware and software for various retro computers, particularly Atari computers. She could also strip down motorbikes etc. R.I.P. Aly.
What an inspiration. Amazing amount of brain power, inventiveness and creativeness. Someone who would be a great role model for my little girls (and my boy too!)

Jeri, I'd like to know what do you think about math and calculus for engineering. Do you think it is really necessary and useful. I mean, not basic math neither baisc calculus, I mean advanced math and physics.
@agudelostephens Those are VERY useful in engineering, but not necessarily needed to learn. It all depends on the level of engineering you're looking at doing
Super awesome woman!

High School / College is beneath you. They are no place for a highly intelligent person like you. Don't ever change.

Harani66: you are absolutely right. It was an annoyance and one solved by a subsequent camera purchase! Yay more toys!

Jeri is a true inspiration.
only complaint. the side facing camera seem to be a different aspect ratio than the front facing cam ?. (nerdy distraction)

Thumbs up to Jeri!
Thumbs down on the aspect ratio failures and on misspelling Jeri's name twice in the video comments.
