Man this song is a great one..I am not sure if Tom wrote the song, but regardless of that, songs belong to humanity and I believe you did a great job since you sang with your heart..I always feel like crying every time I hear this tunes

I've heard several times this before take a decision,

and now I know that this cover maybe - as you say - it's not close to the Waits version, but it's so close to the feeling of the story, and it's so close to my heart (and not only on Saturday Night...)

Thanks very much. It's such a great song. It's fun trying to capture the guitar part and the bass line. There are definitely ways to improve on my arrangement. TW does a beautiful slide up the neck at one moment, which I've haven't managed to catch .... yet ;)
