@antizac If you get asked give the value of delta_jj then it uses 'the summation convention'(TSC) which means delta_11+delta22_+delta_33 =3 as whenever you get 2 letters repeated you sum over 3. Otherwise the top case with j=j is for when you get asked for delta_22 =1. An example of TSC would be delta_1k*delta_k1=delta_11*delta_11+delta_12*delta_21+delta_13*delta_31=1. Hope that helps

If I have delta_jj, how do I know if it should be 1 or 3? The definition gives 1, but your explanation gives 3 (so does one of your properties)
