  • I kinda like 'Songs of the Free'... Heck, I even like Gang Of Four's 'Hard' album, and NObody seems to like that one.

Oh man, Ben friggin' Webster on Black Lion! Cool find! I picked up a couple nice BL Websters at a Chicago record show last year and I love them.

Sons & Daughters... Picture a Scottish-sounding X (the band) who have listened to a LOT of Johnny Cash AND Nick Cave. I love 'em!

  • LUV The Chemical Bros!!! That's such a great album. Not sure if you'll like the remix of Gang of Four. That was a big club hit back in the day and was rather difficult to find back then. I see it now and then these days. Thanks for sharing your finds! You always introduce me to stuff I don't get a chance to hear. Very cool!

  • Jeff that Rollins is on the second label, but AS-91 should be on the first. So I'm gonna say it's not original. Sorry man.

  • Exit Planet Dust is one of the only CB albums I don't have. They headlined the Rockness festival I went to a few years ago. Daft Punk on the Saturday, Chemical Brothers on the Sunday, it was an amazing weekend.

  • Ravi Shankar reminds me of George Harrison. Love that rock opera LP with the poster but it sounds like you are not too hip to the music it sounds like. Nice to see the Gang Of Four LP. Shows that your keeping your 80's sights open. I was looking at the Giles, Giles and Fripp LP's on vinyl recently. It is funny that you bought that . I dig Alvin Lee's guitar playing.

    Hows Charlie the cat doing?

    Rob/Boston

  • The Kiraly looks beautiful and I'd have bought it. Nice find.

  • Noveller sounds like a winner. She's on a good label too.

  • Noveller Sarah Lipstate. cool Ravi record. He about his time signatures at Woodstock. EoLoVox's Fela boxset is sick, right? Bela Bartok was Hungarian. Great scores. Lee Morgan Blue Breakbeats. rad. You always have great shit Jeff. I have that "On The Road To Freedom" on vinyl. Very cool record. I have seen it several times, actually, for $1 or less. Nels Cline does a very cool Itunes Podcast: look up Wilco Podcast. Thanks Jeff as always!

  • Nice finds. Cool Shankar for $4 and Rollins on impulse looks awesome.Nice cds for a buck.

The Lee Morgan looks cool. Giles Giles Fripp is great.

  • Okey, I will have that guitar record in mind, thank you thinking of me.

Hey, did you know that Wolf Eyes made a record with Braxton? They played after Braxon the same day on this festival i Sweden where I saw Braxton, I think Braxton saw there concert and wanted to work with them, thats what i heard...

  • That Hungarian LP looks wicked! I picked up a couple of Hungarian prog LPs recently. Chemical Brothers are cool indeed. Giles Giles & Fripp were very cool but a bit unpolished. I had the chance to pick up that Lee Morgan you showed on LP and I passed up. Damn!

  • @bigstar1000 I agree, I have GG&F on vinyl, and the music is really interesting, but dialogue inserted between the songs is quirky and kills its re-playability. Buy all Morgan on vinyl would be my suggestion.
