God bless Bp Olmsted in the USA. As a 'dyed in the wool Roman Catholic' born in that place blessed by the apostle Paul in 60 AD (Malta) I am fed to the back teeth by the hypocrites who feign Catholicism. Pray to God that they get out of our Church and allow the modern Church to return to its true Roman Catholic Catholicism. Leonard Attard.
I took the time to Google 'Catholic' Healthcare West. They have perhaps 20 locations throughout California and about four in Nevada. Perhas RealCatholicTV might help us gain the email addresses for the bishops of the dioceses where these other hospitals are located. We could beging an email outreach to ask brother bishops to follow the courageous lead of Bishop Olmsted. Blessings. Thanks.
Thank you, Bishop Olmstead! I wish my bishop (Cardinal Roger Mahoney) was more like you, instead of criticizing the U.S. for enforcing its own immigration laws.
God bless you Bishop Olmstead for your faithfulness. May all your brothers in the episcopate join you in your couragous stand . We , the laity pray for Holiness and Faithfulness in our shepherds but let us also pray that they be Couragous. Amen
All hospitals will in the end become the property of the state. It is the sign of the times. And perhaps many parishes will in the end become the property of the state as well..... If you do not know this, you are of mistaken beliefs.
When will Catholics wake up? Seriously, the two-faced Catholics need to be ousted. We need serious clerical reform. Stricter rules, stricter punishments. It is a shame and a sad reflection that the praiseworthy actions of this bishop, God bless him, are even QUESTIONED. Not even 100 years ago, the bishop's decision would have been natural to his office. *Sigh*
What's important now is the Bishop show how the hospital can regain her Catholic Status. It would be fair so say EVERY Catholic hospital has perhaps crossed one line or another so the trick is to pave a way for the Hospital Mission to be reunited with the Catholic Mission. God Bless
@8bluestone Brackenridge hospital in Austin, TX. was in a real heated battle with the city, and state for refusing to do abortions, contraceptives, and other immoral activities. I'm sure the number of Catholic hospitals that are in comunion with the church are much more than unfaithful ones. So you should check first befor firing from the hip like that.
@8bluestone I agree with you. While I trust that Bishop Olmstead did the right thing, my question is this: why couldn't he oust the dissenters of Catholic morality and reclaim the hospital as truly Catholic with strictly enforced guidelines? I seem to be missing something here.
God bless that Bishop!!
Great Video!

Yes, the lay must continue to be straightforward about the simple truth
and be faithful a faithful flock.
I am sure the Bishop would not concede to the stalinesque description of
this hospital administration wearing a false banner of Peace but good
on you for speaking up with him!!!
